Road America gave a good show of close racing and good finishes for BMWs in both GS and ST, with the #46 Fall-Line BMW M3 of Hindman and Freiberg taking the third podium spot on the GS class. The second Fall-Line BMW, #48 M3 of Boden and Kasements, rounded out the top-10 BMW finishers in GS with an 8th place finish.
The final moments of the ST class had a sudden shift of placings when the class-leading #17 Rennsport One Porsche Cayman of Pumpelly and Rodriquez Jr. ran out of fuel with just two turns to go. A painful end for them, but an outstanding gift for everyone behind them. With that, the Diffsonline-equipped #81 BimmerWorld BMW 328i of Hartanto and Cooke was gifted a bump up to a 4th place finish, continuing their strong late-season finishing pattern.
